My general focus is on identifying and developing emerging and transformative initiatives that can impact society in significant and exponential ways.
I do this by helping create interdisciplinary frameworks for understanding, designing, and planning new initiatives and the funding ecosystem required to bring new innovations to market.I have managed a few private and public technology investment and venture capital funds and focus mostly now on market design and incentives to create new frameworks for enabling wider participation in the innovation process, and creating digital commons.I look for innovative ventures in corporations as well as startups that target products and services that could generate sustainable economic and societal impact.
I enjoy helping advance product roadmap strategy, pricing and business model, fundraising, and high-growth partnerships and mergers.
My particular technology emphasis is currently on AI and predictive systems, Quantum algorithms, and cloud-based business models.
I sit on boards on private and non-profit organizations that focus on knowledge dissemination and bringing real world change. I enjoy teaching and have been a guest lecturer and adjunct professor at UC Berkeley, HEC Paris, Chapman University, Claremont McKenna College, and UC Irvine.
