Claire leads Capgemini Invent’s AI governance and trust team in the UK, helping clients navigate the evolving regulatory and ethical landscape to realise the opportunities of AI in a responsible way.

Claire has extensive expertise in the regulation, governance and ethical aspects of AI, having worked as a lawyer, civil servant and AI consultant for over 18 years. Prior to joining Capgemini, Claire worked in the UK government’s Office for Artificial Intelligence and led work to design the UK’s pro-innovation approach for regulating AI technologies. 

This built on her extensive experience in developing policies for the UK government focused on models for data sharing and adoption of AI in low-maturity sectors with high-growth potential.
